So, what exactly is IDT? Integrated Dual Technology means the fabric is fed from the top and the bottom at the same time, at any stitch, regardless of the stitch length or width. The result: absolutely no fabric slippage which is perfect for piecing. Only Pfaff has the original IDT integrated in the sewing machine!

The Grand Quilter was designed to meet the special meeds of quilters. It has ample room between the needle and machine body for even the largest quilt. It has the ability to easily move the fabric and cover large areas with quilt designs. The separate motor for winding the bobbin means you can sew and fill a bobbin at the same time!

- I like the Last Stitch feature where I can pick up the same settings that I set for the last stitch.
- ... I find that you can do about anything with this machine. In fact, the more I use it, the more things I discover about it.
- I like the touch screen and the many decorative stitches as well as the ability you have to create your own stitches.
- I really love the automatic presser foot level. So much so, that I would not buy another machine that doesn't have this feature.
- I like many of the features. To name a few, not having to put presser foot down, just put the pedal to the metal and go!
- Needle down feature when I applique.
- Tells you when bobbin thread is low so you don't embroider without bobbin thread, like brand X did when I had it.
- Able to slow machine down when using metallic thread, avoids a lot of thread breakage

Pfaff Creative 4D Embroidery Software is versatile and allows you to personalize your designs before you send them to your machine. All components of the creative 4D software are multi-format; you can load and save most popular embroidery formats.
Our quilters love having two choices of quarter-inch presser feet, open-toe presser feet in two widths for machine appliqué; our machine embroiderers love the many choices of hoops.
